AIEA HIGH SCHOOL - ATHLETICS

Welcome to 'Aiea High's Athletics Page!

August 3, 2022:
All athletes need to have a negative COVID twice a week UNLESS they are fully vaccinated (two weeks after the second shot).  Testing can be from the antigen (home) tests, and does not have to come from a laboratory.  Please inform the athletic director if you are going to take the testing option.  If there is a positive COVID case on the team, close contacts will be determined, and if they are not vaccinated, they must be quarantined for 5 days.  Fully vaccinated students may continue like normal.  Any athlete that has tested positive, regardless of vaccination status, must quarantine for 5 days.  On day 6-10, they have to wear a mask at all times and may not participate in any team activities.  They will report to the athletic trainers to begin their return to play protocol.  They can rejoin the team on day 11.

July 18, 2022:
The 2022-23 school year is just around the corner and some of the Fall athletic teams have already started their pre-season workouts.  If your child is interested in the following Fall Sports (Bowling, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, JV Softball, Soft Tennis, and Girls Volleyball), and have not contacted their respective coach, please contact the athletic director Bryce Kaneshiro at 305-6500, or email at [email protected]

Please have an updated completed athletic physical and an athletic participation release form turned in to the athletic trainer or athletic director before they start to work out. Physical forms can be found on this link, or at the front office.
