Principal's Message

Welcome back to a new academic year at Aiea High School! We are delighted to have
each and every one of you back as we embark on another year of learning, growth, and
success.

 

As we step into this exciting chapter, we want to reaffirm our commitment to the core
values that define our school community: Integrity, Grit, and Ohana.

Integrity is at the heart of everything we do at Aiea High School. We believe in nurturing
a culture of honesty, respect, and ethical behavior. Our students are encouraged to
uphold these values, both in their studies and personal interactions, as we strive to mold
them into responsible and principled individuals.

 

Grit is a trait that we deeply admire and encourage in our students. We support our
students in developing a resilient mindset, empowering them to face obstacles with
confidence and courage.

 

Ohana, a word that embodies the spirit of family, holds a special place in our school's
philosophy. We cherish the strong bond that exists between our students, teachers,
staff, and parents. Together, we create a warm and nurturing environment where
everyone feels a sense of belonging and support, fostering a positive and inclusive
school community.

 

We are thrilled to share the incredible academic achievements from the previous year.
We have witnessed a remarkable double-digit increase in math and science proficiency,
a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teachers and students alike.
Additionally, we are proud to announce a 3% increase in language arts proficiency, a
result of our collaborative efforts to enhance literacy skills.

In the coming year, we will continue to build upon these achievements, offering a robust
and engaging curriculum/program that challenges our students to reach new heights.

 

Our dedicated team of educators is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating
learning environment, fostering the growth of every child.

 

Parents and guardians, your partnership is invaluable to us. We encourage open
communication and active involvement in your child's education. Together, we can
create an enriching experience that will empower our students to excel academically
and develop into compassionate and well-rounded individuals.
