Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Payment

Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Payment

It’s that time of year!  Time to pay for your child’s AP Exams!

If your child is currently taking one or more AP courses this school year, the AP Exam payment is due no later than 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022.  If payment is not made by this date and time then your child’s AP course title may  lose the AP designation and the 5.0 grading scale.  Your child will still be expected to stay in the class.  (This could impact the honor certificate/valedictorian standing for the Class of 2023).

Only cash or check payments are accepted. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to Aiea High School.  Also, please be sure that your child’s name is written on the memo line of the check or somewhere on the check so your child can be credited with paying for the AP Exam(s).

Please bring payment to Ms. Watanabe, the Testing Coordinator, in the main office, Room 4 in Q building (admin building) during recess, lunch, or after school.  Ms. Watanabe’s office is accessible from the outside and is facing the tennis/basketball courts. Her office is the one with the giant poster on the door.

AP Exam costs are as follows:

Free/reduced meals qualified - $8 per regular AP exam; $56 for AP Capstone Exam

Regular pay - $97 per regular AP exam; $145 for AP Capstone Exam
