Summer School
On April 15, 2021, the Hawaii State Board of Education (Board) held a special meeting and approved the Department of Education’s authorization to expend the federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) II funds to cover summer programming, including the Official Summer School tuition fees for participating students.
“The summer school program is open to all students, not just students from the particular school (although a school may give its own students priority for enrollment)”
